PLANETSAVERS™ Ecological Lighting is the ecological lighting division of OMC (UK) Ltd. (The Optoelectronic Manufacturing Corporation).

 

OMC has been working with semiconductor technology for 25

years and has been a leader in the industry since its infancy.

The LED has evolved from a simple indicator (like the standby

light on your TV) to an extremely efficient source of lighting.

Many suppliers have tried to market LED lighting too soon after

it was developed, and the products have failed to live up to

their potential giving LEDs a reputation for poor brightness

and reliability.

 

OMC are different. They have been patient and developed

reliable and efficient products that are the only LED lighting

products that are truly comparable with standard light sources

such as halogens.

 

There is a simple fact that when it comes to LEDs, end users can go to one of the many so-called specialists that have sprung up in recent years or they can ask OMC’s engineers for help - the people who really can, and will, tell you exactly how to use LED products, which products to use, how to drive them and will also tell you when LEDs are not the most appropriate solution.

 

OMC just know more about LEDs than other companies – and they intend to keep it that way with an ongoing programme of research and development.

If at any time you decide to remove an installation that uses our bulbs we will make no charge for allowing you to return them to us and we undertake to dispose of them in an environmentally appropriate manner. For disposal of products that are damaged or defective please contact us for support and advice.
