All of our products use considerably less energy than inefficient lighting sources such as halogens (about 1/7th).

 

It is simple therefore to work out that they cost only about a 1/7th as much to run.

 

Add to this the 50,000 hours life expectancy - so the saved cost of having to buy replacement bulbs and pay the labour to get them fitted - and the savings increase even more.

 

So, how about an example?

 

A shop has 150 standard 35W halogens

These are on for 12 hours a day, 350 days of the year

They take 5250W of power to illuminate

Their energy price of £0.10kwh

So they are costing 52.5p per hour to illuminate.

That is £6.30 every day, or £2205.00 per year.

 

They replace those halogens with OMC’s GU10 halogen replacements.

These take just 555W to illuminate

That works out as 5.55p per hour

Which is 67p per day or £233.10 per year.

 

That is a saving of £1971.90 every year on electricity costs alone.

 

Now imagine that they replace a chain of 100 shops with our bulbs.

 

That would present a £197190.00 saving every year, and remember these values do not include the cost of replacement bulbs or labour to have them fitted.

 

As you can see the money saving potential of these products makes them an incredibly sound investment, with returns of up to 100% per annum.
